This is right up my alley. New Yorkers love discussing politics.
As to Donald Trump being president, I say no. I know “the Donald,” not personally, but from reading about him almost daily in the New York newspapers.
It seems to me that “the Donald” (is he called that anymore?) is too volatile. He says the first thing that pops out of his head. He’s been in and out of trouble constantly. He can’t keep his mouth shut. He’s very New York in his attitude, which can sometimes be good for a president. But at the same time, New Yorkers are very vocal and cannot keep their opinions to themselves, which leads to problems. If Donald Trump ever makes it into the White House, we’ll probably be at war with some country within days.
You know what? While writing this, I’ve had a change of heart. Maybe that’s what we need. Someone with guts. Someone who is going to put up a good fight for what he believes in. I can tell you, if he becomes president, it will not be a smooth ride. He will definitely make living in the White House interesting. Maybe he can invite all his ex-wives to the White House at the same time. I would love a president in office who tells it like it is. Wouldn’t that be a joke! Get ready, turbulence ahead! Plus, I think it’s about time someone from the East Coast becomes President.
