Good for Twitter. I don’t know if you’ve heard about Twitter suing the U.S. government. It’s suing the U.S. government because the DOJ and the FBI won’t let it publish how many National Security Letters and how many Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act orders it’s received from the U.S. government. Twitter feels that its first Amendment Rights are denied it. Twitter’s not allowed to tell its users how many orders it’s been received from the government.

Again, good for Twitter. Maybe it’ll make other companies sue the government, too. The government’s gone surveillance crazy. It’s about time someone stops it from becoming worse than it is.
